Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Honor Flight Rochester.  Our “Trips of a Lifetime” for local veterans would not be possible without our 100% volunteer staff!

Honor Flight Rochester has many different volunteer opportunities including:

• Helping with Mission Departures or Welcome Home ceremonies
• Serving as a photographer for Departures, Welcome Homes, or Special Events
• Working at special events (e.g., at our booth at an air show, assisting with a golf tournament fundraiser, etc.)
• Coordinating shifts of volunteers for a special event
• Serving on our Health and Safety Team (healthcare qualifications are required)
• Assisting with our Veteran Letters program
• Assembling backpacks for veterans
• Working on clerical tasks that can be done from home
• Speaking to outside groups as part of our Speakers’ Bureau (you must have flown as a guardian or as part of a mission crew)
